Solas Eige is delighted to announce that 2 Eigg businesses have teemed up in support of our Crowdfunder Prize draw ! The Isle of Eigg Craftshop is providing 5 copies of the lastest edition of "Eigg, the Story of an Island" by island author and local historian Camille Dressler. This 2024 edition has a foreword by Dr Kenny Taylor, chair of the Scottish Wildlife Trust, celebrating the role of the SWT and other UK wildlife trusts in the Eigg buyout campaign, a unique collaboration that has not been seen since! As to the Eigg Brewery, which is the first cooperative brewery in Scotland, they have been true to their spirit of encouraging startup island ventures by donating 3 x 6 packs of their popular beers: 3 IPAs ( expect tropical fruit and a lingering, balanced finish) and 3 Pilsners (a crisp, refreshing, golden finish), all unfined, unfiltered and vegan-friendly.
